Reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease by using intake of high fish oil diet
The consumption of fish oils is beneficial for a variety of health outcomes. The major benefit demonstrated to date has been a reduction in the risk of cardiovascular disease. Fish oils also have anti-inflammatory properties. These are thought to improve tenderness and stiffness in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, although relatively high doses (4–5g/d) of fish oil are required for an effect.
