Abstract

Ready-to-eat breakfast cereals are a popular food and a good vehicle for Fe fortification. Elemental Fe powders are
used widely in breakfast cereals as they are inexpensive and non-reactive. marketing strategies have spurred
increased research into more available forms of iron in specific food products.
