As a branched-chain amino acid, leucine is an essential amino acid in the body. The physiological functions in
the body mainly include oxidative energy supply, regulation of the body's related immune functions, and
influence of protein metabolism in the body's tissues. Most of the researches on leucine regulating protein
metabolism in tissues have focused on the synthesis of tissue proteins in recent years. With the deepening of
research, some scholars have found that leucine can reduce the protein breakdown of skeletal muscle and muscle
cells. This article mainly analyzes the relationship between leucine regulating skeletal muscle protein and bone
health. The relationship between reasonable exercise and bone mass is very close. The average sports athlete is
very concerned about the bone health. Bone is the scaffold that constitutes the human body and is the basis for
the normal development of children and adolescents. Bone density also changes adaptively with time and
lifestyle changes. Studies have shown that the health of bones will directly affect the performance of a highintensity
athlete. During exercise, moderate strength should be maintained to help the healthy development of
bones and continuously increase bone density.
