Research on H2S Exhaust Gas Purification Technology with High Efficiency Biological Deodorization Drip Filter Tower
Industrial development and urbanization have led to a decline in global air quality, especially the foul toxic and harmful exhaust gas represented by H2S, which seriously threatens the survival and development of humankind. H2S is a strong neurotoxicant, which also has a strong stimulating effect on mucous membranes. After inhaling H2S, the human body may experience symptoms such as dyspnea, olfactory paralysis, nausea, vomiting, and immediate death depending on the concentration. At present, China's pharmaceutical, chemical, tannery and other industries will produce a large amount of H2S malodorous exhaust gas during the production and wastewater treatment processes, and related complaints have been increasing. Aiming at the increasingly serious H2S exhaust gas pollution, corresponding treatment methods such as washing, adsorption, chemical and thermal oxidation have emerged. However, the above method cannot be applied on a large scale due to the expensive operation. Therefore, the biological method with low operating cost has become a possible and ideal method for H2S exhaust gas purification. In this paper, by examining the degradation performance of H2S and the succession of microbial communities of the PTBTF system during the start-up and stable operation of the membrane, the degradation products of H2S are analyzed in order to lay the foundation for the engineering application of H2S exhaust gas biological purification.
