Monitoring of Risk Factors for Birth Defects in Perinatal Children and Analysis of Intervention Effects

Objective: To investigate the occurrence of birth defects in perinatal children in A city, to understand the risk factors of birth defects in perinatal children, and to provide evidence for prevention and intervention of birth defects in perinatal children. Methods: The data of birth defects were collected. A case-control study was conducted on the parents of congenital malformations. The risk factors were investigated and the effects of comprehensive interventions were compared. Results: After the intervention, the incidence of birth defects in A city decreased, the birth defects and composition changed, and the incidence of neural tube defects decreased. The main influencing factors of birth defects are: history of abortion and the number of abortions, exposure to chemical agents during pregnancy, history of birth defects, history of father smoking, malnutrition during pregnancy, and malnutrition during pregnancy. Conclusion: There are many risk factors affecting birth defects, reduce the incidence of birth defects, and should establish various forms of comprehensive measures to do three levels of prevention work: carry out health education publicity; actively promote secondary prevention measures; Disease screening.
